Music To Remember WNY seeks to provide music, entertainment, and awareness education to benefit senior citizens, Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, disabled veterans and individuals with special needs in the Western New York region. Specifically, to provide ongoing live music and entertainment programs, and to help facilitate special fundraising events for organizations, senior and memory care facilities. Music To Remember WNY partners and collaborates with these facilities and organizations to widen it’s outreach promoting the positive benefits of music.

Music To Remember WNY also researches, documents, and educates on the benefits of music to seniors, Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, and disabled veterans.

In May 2017, Music To Remember WNY began organizing and presenting fundraising performances to benefit senior facilities, their residents, and families. Since then 6 additional musical/fundraising events were held. Each fundraising event featured over 15 different musicians, playing a wide variety of music.

Outside of these special events, regular programmed performances for upwards of 20 different facilities in the Western New York region have been added to date.

To support this program, Music To Remember WNY will solicit donations and apply for grants, as appropriate, as well as initiate and participate in fundraising events and regularly scheduled musical programs. These grants and donations will be used to expand the regularly scheduled and special events, as well as the educational portion of Music To Remember WNY.
